General terms and conditions
Shipping in Switzerland and Lichtenstein

All prices quoted are in Swiss francs (CHF), including VAT and excluding shipping costs. For orders below CHF 500 (value of goods), the shipping and packaging costs shall be borne by the customer.

The shipping costs depend on the weight. Parcels up to 30 kg: CHF 12.00.
Exception: For voluminous products (e.g. tortilla chips, sombreros, etc.) the transport costs depend on volume and weight.

Terms of delivery

The product is dispatched by DHL or forwarding agency. The delivery takes place against signature. Please enter an appropriate delivery address to receive the goods. Deliveries with a total weight of 120 kg or more will be handed over to the forwarding agent. If a different mode of shipment is desired, this must be indicated with the order. All additional costs incurred as a result shall be borne by the customer. We will gladly inform you about extra shipping services (Saturday delivery, Express, Camion etc.). The delivery times indicated by EL SOL AG are without guarantee.

Deep-frozen products

Frozen products to private individuals are generally shipped with DHL. The product arrives defrosted at the customer’s premises and must therefore be consumed/processed immediately. If expressly requested, frozen products can also be delivered to private customers with refrigerated transport at the following prices: CHF 60 up to 45 kg. For more than 45 kg, please ask for a price quote.
Frozen products are always shipped to restaurants and retailers by refrigerated truck (according to separate price list).

Shipping abroad

We only ship within Switzerland and Lichtenstein. Deliveries abroad are only possible with a forwarding company commissioned by the customer. The conversion into Euro depends on the daily exchange rate of the invoice date.

Retention of title

The goods shall remain the property of EL SOL AG until full payment has been made. Customers with overdue invoices will only be supplied after payment or cash on delivery, if applicable.
The goods must be inspected by the customer immediately upon receipt. Complaints can only be reported to us in writing within 5 days. In the event of improper handling by the customer, any liability on our part will be rejected. There is no claim for compensation for delay or non-delivery.

Prices

All prices quoted on the website are in Swiss francs (CHF), including VAT, and are intended for the personal use of the customer.

Wholesale (restaurants and resellers)

Please ask for our price lists for gastronomy or resellers.
